[MARRIED] is a one day conference that seeks to help couples have marriages that don’t just survive but thrive. Paul and Gretchen George present engaging sessions throughout the day, using humor and parts of their own story. The talks will center around the following themes: Marriage is beautiful, designed to be a picture of God’s love to the world. Marriage can be messy and difficult at times. Through it all, marriage is worth it… worth every couple’s investment of their time, energy, and resources. When couples embrace the beauty and the mess, marriages become what they are meant to be. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to enrich your marriage! Register today or invite married to your area!
Who is this for?
This day is for married folks who want to invest in their marriage. If you are an engaged couple and want to attend send us a email at firstname.lastname@example.org. This day is not for dating couples, but if you want to contact us about helping you one-on-one, feel free to reach out through our coaching/mentoring form.
What type of marriage is this day best for?
[MARRIED] is designed for marriages in all places. It can help enrich a healthy relationship, rejuvenate a mediocre one, or help begin the restoration of a relationship that is struggling.
What’s included in the Conference fee?
Your registration fee covers the day for you and your spouse as well as lunch and snacks. Travel, lodging and other meals are on your own.
I’m coming from out of town…help?
What if my spouse can’t attend?
This day is meant for both you and your spouse to experience it together as marriage is 2 people each giving 100%. We don’t recommend coming alone and don’t offer a single spouse rate. If you need help convincing your spouse to come, email email@example.com.
Is childcare available?
Unfortunately, we do not have childcare available on site. In order for you and your spouse to focus on each other, we ask that you do not bring your kids. Nursing babies, of course, are welcome!
Do we need to bring anything?
Bring yourself and your spouse! If you have a journal, bible, pen, or notebook feel free to bring it as well. If you have any allergies or are on a certain diet, bring what you need. Come comfy and ready to have fun and dig in!
What is the social and date night option?
The after social is for everyone to come and hang out. We will be going to a local restaurant for drinks and food (on your own) to have some fun. The date night option is for anyone who wants to go off and enjoy a date with their spouse after the event. We will have some restaurant suggestions for you. And if you need to go and can’t attend either, we won’t judge:)
Does Mass count for Sunday obligation?
Yes, the 5pm mass will be the anticipation mass at the Parish. Families are welcome to join us for the Mass!
Are scholarships available?
